MUFG Innovation Partners Co., Ltd. (MUIP) today announced that sustainacraft Inc. (sustainacraft), one of MUIP’s portfolio companies, was acquired by a professional services group operating in Japan, effective April 1, 2026.
By joining a leading organization with strengths in consulting capabilities and extensive networks, sustainacraft is expected to further strengthen its support structure in the areas of natural capital and climate change. The name of the acquirer is not disclosed based on its request.
Since investing in sustainacraft in 2022, MUIP has supported the company’s growth, sharing its vision of creating healthy flows of financial capital into natural capital. This reflects the recognition of sustainacraft’s technological capabilities and business value, and is a development we regard as highly meaningful.
MUIP will continue to contribute, in its role as MUFG’s corporate venture capital (CVC), to the creation of innovation through investment in and support of startups that aim to both address social challenges and achieve sustainable growth in corporate value.
